It was in June 2009. I chose to join Club Med because I know that this company proposed jobs in the catering and hotel trade, that it had an international presence and that its HR policy favoured in-house promotions. Interested in the hospitality professions and already speaking several languages, I naturally applied as a Receptionist.

My first season at Peisey-Vallandry was incredible! I really liked working with people who shared my values. I worked with a united and motivated team and this atmosphere made me want to stay. I am now Public Relations Manager at Les Boucaniers village in Martinique. In a way, I am the village manager's right-hand man as, in his absence, I have to supervise the smooth running of the village. And I like it!

In this job, you need to be professional, have a sense of responsibility, be flexible and show your availability But you also need to be kind, passionate, friendly and above want to please G.Ms... It's simple, I am driven by human relations and at Club Med, you are lucky to work and meet people of different cultures. Some can sometimes surprise you but they always make you want to be more tolerant and open up more to the world.

Now, after a few seasons at the Club, I can say that it has allowed me to find professional but also personal fulfilment. The atmosphere of the village is so friendly that everyone can express themselves freely. That's what working at the Club is all about: giving and receiving happiness. I hope that the Club Med adventure won't stop there and I may soon evolve towards head office.
